when I first learned about Bodymarc in 2015, and bought the book in 2016. I had no idea what it could and would bring. I didn't know what it would do with me, or my body, or more importantly, with the ponies. In the beginning I didn't feel anything. Only tensions. Tensions, that, for me, didn't seem to go away. In the weeks that came, I felt myself becoming less tensed. I felt myself more relaxed, and in the months that came, I felt myself becoming aware of who I was. Through Bodymarc I've discovered tensions surrounding sleeping (I've been quite the bed sleeper), and ever since, it goes better, but yet, there is still one, lovely experience I would love to share. At the start of doing Bodymarc I was still eating the same, simple recipes I've already for years since I started to live on my own. Through Bodymarc I learned about the tensions towards food, and as to why I was not motivated to cook. It not only was because I was disconnected to my body, but also because I started to become aware of how tensed and limited I felt in the grocery shop where I used to shop, used to, because in the past few months (and actually years) I felt a longing to a bit more expensive grocery shopping in the same town where I live. Yet, due to having limited money, I always told myself that I had to go to the cheapest shop there was. How wrong I was. My body always made it clear that the cheapest grocery store was NOT the store for me, but did I listen? No. In the past few weeks/months I felt myself becoming more limited in the cheapest grocery store, and whenever I would go to the bit more expensive grocery store, I felt like a whole new world of food was opening up to me. Every time I was overwhelmed with all the amazing food that was calling out to me, that I always went back to the other store, where I knew what to buy. With the weeks that came I became more and more aware of how I felt in the two different shops, and one time, a few weeks ago, I went to do grocery shopping in the cheapest shop. I already felt tense when I came near it, but not just that. Nothing did felt right to buy (but I still did buy it), and when I came home, I felt stressed. Truly stressed and tired. It's from that day on that I decided to do grocery shopping in the bit more expensive shop and let me tell you, I do not regret that choice! I now can feel and taste which food my body LOVES to have at that time! Especially now, with the warm weather, it has a longing for fresh fruit, and salads, instead of meat or anything else. It has a longing for baked eggs on bread. It wants to taste everything that is there in the more expensive shop and I can't WAIT to try it all out!
If there is one thing Bodymarc teaches me then it is how to connect with me, myself and most importantly, my body and the horses.

When I truly started to understand that the only person I can change is myself, I also realized that I have to connect with myself to be able to open up for real change. Body Marc is helping me to connect with myself in a VERY POWERFUL way. I feel now the difference between when I'm connected in a pure way, compared to when I'm in my imagination. My horses come to me with such positive vibration now, they want to be with me and they are happy to teach me even more about connection. Once when I was riding I did some Body Marc exercises and my horse stood patiently waiting for me to relax and after a while she made the experience even stronger, she helped me to feel my feet. It felt like they started to vibrate and they became so warm. Normally I have very cold feet and are not that connected with them. The riding with my relaxed body and feet felt like a dance and it was so easy to communicate with her. We were so connected with each other and this experience stays in my heart forever.
I believe that we humans need to come back to the roots of pure connection again and Body Marc is a powerful way of learning this. Reading about Body Marc is good but to experience and practice it gives the real change. So I recommend you all to give yourself time and enjoy Body Marc sessions.🦄
